PRIVACY POLICY

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

The mobile application "Run Ukraine" (hereinafter referred to as the "App") is developed and maintained by the Public Organization "Run Ukraine," a legal entity registered and functioning under Ukrainian legislation (hereinafter referred to as "RUN UKRAINE" or "We").

RUN UKRAINE is committed to respecting the privacy of its App Users. We collect certain types of information about Users to facilitate our services. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, and how you can correct or alter that information.

Our respect for the personal information of all App Users, without exception, drives us to protect the confidentiality of personal data (information or block of information about an individual that identifies or specifies the User), thereby ensuring comfortable conditions for using the App's services.

We process data only with the prior written consent of the Users, as per Article 6, Section 1, Clause "a" of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Exceptions may arise when prior consent is impossible for objective reasons, and data processing is legally permissible.

In executing the above, RUN UKRAINE adheres to this Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy (hereafter "Policy"). The Policy sets the course for processing personal data by RUN UKRAINE, the types of personal data collected and the purpose of their use, our interaction with third parties, and the security measures used to protect personal data.

The App may contain links to sites other than ours; these sites may not adhere to the same privacy policies as RUN UKRAINE. This Policy will not apply to those websites. We recommend you review their privacy policies before using their information or services.

2. TYPES OF PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

RUN UKRAINE collects personal data that the User knowingly provides to use the App's services. This data, according to legal requirements, signifies the User's consent to the processing of personal data as specified in this Policy.

When a User engages with the RUN UKRAINE App, the following User data is processed:

●             data provided during account registration and use of services;

●             IP addresses of the User;

●             information about your device like the type of device, operating system, and App usage information.

RUN UKRAINE only collects the minimal amount of information necessary to fulfill the User's request.

You can subscribe to a free newsletter within the App. When subscribing, data such as name and email address are transmitted to us.

Personal data collected during newsletter registration is used for sending our newsletter, informing about changes to the mailing service, and for technical changes to the mailing service. We do not transfer personal data received through the mailing service to third parties. Users can unsubscribe at any time.

RUN UKRAINE does not collect information subject to specific legal restrictions, like racial or ethnic origin, political, religious, or ideological beliefs, membership in political parties and trade unions, or criminal convictions, and data related to health, sexual life, biometric or genetic data.

3. PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING/USE

Personal data is used to ensure provision of App services, exchange of information/news, relations in the field of advertising and communication under the Laws of Ukraine, including, but not limited to the laws "On the protection of personal data," "On the ratification of the Convention on the Protection of Persons in Communications in connection with the automated processing of personal data and the Additional Protocol to the Convention on the Protection of Individuals in Connection with the Automated Processing of Personal Data in relation to supervisory authorities and cross-border data flows," "On information," "On advertising," "On telecommunications," "On protection of information in information and telecommunication systems," "On state support of mass media and social protection of journalists."

4. TERM OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is stored as long as necessary for their processing purpose.

Once a User ceases to use the App and deletes their account, their personal data is automatically deleted.

5. INTERACTION OF THE COMPANY WITH THIRD PARTIES REGARDING PERSONAL DATA

RUN UKRAINE does not transfer personal data to third parties except when such transfer is required by law, at the request of the subject of personal data, or in other cases set forth in this Policy. RUN UKRAINE recognizes that personal information is a valuable component of the private non-property rights of an individual, and thus takes all reasonable measures to protect the personal data of users voluntarily provided to RUN UKRAINE through the Application.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY OF ACTIVITY OF THE SUBJECT OF PERSONAL DATA IN THE APPLICATION

Information about the behavior of users within the Application, including interactions and usage patterns, is protected by law. RUN UKRAINE does not violate the confidentiality of user "activity" within the Application.

7. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

RUN UKRAINE applies generally accepted standards of technological and operational protection of information and personal data to prevent loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. RUN UKRAINE takes all applicable confidentiality obligations and implements technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized or illegal disclosure or processing of such information and data, their accidental loss, destruction, or damage. However, despite its best efforts, RUN UKRAINE cannot guarantee absolute security against any threats arising outside of RUN UKRAINE's control.

8. TERMS OF ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA

The procedure for access to personal data by third parties is determined by the User's consent given by the owner of personal data to the processing of such data, or by the law. The User's access to their personal data through the Application is free of charge.

9. RIGHTS OF THE SUBJECT OF PERSONAL DATA

The subject of personal data maintains the rights provided for by the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Personal Data." These include, but are not limited to, the right to know about the sources of collection and the location of their personal data, the purpose of their processing, and the location or residence of the owner or controller of personal data. 10. DATA PROTECTION WHEN USING INTEGRATED SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURES

Our Application may integrate features of various social media platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. If the user interacts with these social media features within the Application, these platforms may collect and share certain data in accordance with their respective privacy policies. RUN UKRAINE does not control these third-party platforms and thus, our Privacy Policy does not apply to them. Additional information about the data protection rules of the integrated social networks is available on their respective websites.

11. CHANGES TO THE POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated or modified from time to time, without prior notice to the user, including when legal requirements change. Please review this Policy periodically to be aware of any changes or additions.
